There was some serious money invested in this 1990 Ford Mustang GT's performance. So while the affordable price is what you'd already expect to pay for a slick white GT with some nice upgrades, one look at the engine bay, and you'll realize this is the best deal going in V8 muscle.

It only takes a moment to realize you're looking at something special. The factory-correct white paint has a great presence the moment the sunlight hits the deep luster. This is such a low mileage vehicle (averaging less than 900 miles annually) that it's not hard to believe this is the factory paint giving off this shine. But this is also not just a standard factory coupe. You can tell this is a speedy machine by the large cowl hood and big rear spoiler. Plus, the grille and shiny 17-inch wheel are inspired by the hot SVT Cobra. It strikes the perfect balance where people who give this a second glance will realize it's a wolf in sheep's clothing.

Inside, you again get the first impression of a nice stock setup with cloth sport seats and plenty of power options like the windows, locks, and mirrors. You even sit behind the factory wheel that has an airbag and buttons for the cruise control. But as you gaze across the gauges and dash, it becomes instantly clear that there's a lot more going on here than just what Ford made. Items like the gauges on the A-pillar, shift light, roll cage, BG Fuels System temp readout, and the SDS LCD programmer for the car's ECU are all clear indications that there's something quite special in the engine bay.

When you lift the hood, the Cobra head is a nice teaser to what lies beneath it's a full SVO A-4 block from Bennett Racing. This 5.0-liter powerhouse has been fortified and enhanced with all the right performance goodies. This includes 2.30 billet crank, Ross pistons, Oliver billet rods, Lunati 232-238 cam, ATI harmonic balancer, Comp Cams roller rockers, hydraulic roller lifters, BBK throttle body, Bennett Stage 2 fuel system w/MDS 50lb injectors, and of course the Vortech supercharger. There's plenty more upgrades, but we just don't have the space to list them here, so call for all the details. Just know that you're driving serous power to the streets, and the custom Hooker long tube headers and Borla mufflers help you announce it every time you twist the key. And big power upgrades under the hood means you need to fortify the rest of the car to handle it all. That's why it now has a Pro Built four-speed AOD automatic transmission. This feeds an aluminum driveshaft on its way to the Moser 31-spline rear end. This is coupe has a limited slip diff running 3.73 gears to make sure you get the best power take-offs. Suspension upgrades include lower springs, AVO front struts, Southside lower control arms, and AVO rear shocks. Add in power steering and four-wheel disc brakes, and this is a total power package that's easy to keep under control.

  1. Vehicle may be sold by Streetside Classics prior to the end of the auction. Streetside Classics reserves the right to end its auctions early or to cancel bids solely at its discretion and shall not be held liable for any such cancellation.

  2. The winning bidder is required to contact Streetside Classics within 24 hours after the close of the auction to finalize the details of the transaction.

  3. If winning bidder does not contact Streetside Classics and submit deposit within 24 hours of auction close, vehicle may be made available to the next highest bidder or another qualified buyer on a first come, first serve basis.

  4. For balance of payment we will accept bank wire transfer (preferred), cashier’s check, or personal check (vehicle shipment will be delayed until check clears).
