Use: I have put 1,000 trouble free miles on this truck since completing the restoration. I drive this truck regularly, never off road but daily. The truck has not seen winter, salt, mud or even rain since the restoration work above. It is garaged, out of the elements 99% of the time.
Condition: Near 100% restored to better than new per above by a local Boston Land Rover master mechanic, who is available to discuss the build. Nearly every conceivable part has been replaced with no expense spared. All receipts included, to the tune of $30k of parts and about the same of labor. That said, this was designed to be one step better than a farm tractor. Do not expect the ride of a Range Rover or even a G550.
Paint: The paint is original on all but the 3 brand new doors. They are color matched Coniston Green, see photos. The original body is all aluminum and has the expected waves from the factory, scuffs, and a ding or two that you would expect for a 22yo truck. You could certainly spend another endless more money if you wanted to create a show queen. See photos.
Reason for sale: I have a 1994 130 Beach Runner conversion project in the works, which I would like to complete over the winter for island work next summer. As such, I need to clear the plate and get to work.
