I'm selling my beautiful 2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante. This has been one of my daily drivers for a few years so this is a driver's car, not a garage queen. There is the normal road wear one will find on a car with 60,000+ miles on it but it still looks great and has no body dents. I believe beautiful cars are to be driven but pampered, and most of all, enjoyed. Storing cars like these is not good for them. This car has been amazing and completely reliable, fast, comfortable and just a joy to drive, especially with the top down. It has also been meticulously maintained. Just had an oil and filter change and the tires and brakes are in great shape. Prior to my purchasing the car I saw there was a minor accident report on the Carfax. from 2014. The owner showed me the pictures and there was a small dent and scratches on the left side rear bumper by the license plate area where Bozo lightly backed into it. It was repaired beautifully so that didn't worry me at all. As you can see I posted the Auto Check report so there would be full disclosure.
THIS IS IMPORTANT: anyone with an Aston Martin DB9 experience knows about the original equipment coil pack problem that may (will) fail around 40,000 - 50,000 miles, one by one. As a preventative measure, all coil pack were just updated (changed), injectors cleaned and serviced and new spark plugs and air filters were installed. This will save the new owner somewhere between $4500 and $5000 (depending on the dealer). The door, hood and trunk hydraulic lift cylinders were just changed as well.
My DB9 currently has a very nice (expensive) aftermarket muffler system that enhances the beautiful sound of the V-12 engine without making it much louder than the stock muffler. The stock muffler is included in the sale. As all Aston Martin owner's know, there is no spare tire so included is a tire plug kit and air compressor, just in case. This car is ready for a long, enjoyable trip. I'm asking $46,500 but I may accept offers.
