This 1972 Datsun 240Z is for sale for $2,550 in Bakersfield, California. It has 18,630 miles with a Clear title and is Red with a Burgundy interior.
Ideal for a Skyline engine swap or v8 swap.
I am selling my 240z project car. I’m feeling for my wife having to park outside during winter when I have two different Zs taking up the garage.
No engine, transmission, or hood.
This is a Central California (not coastal Car). There is rust, but not in any road salt places as we don’t salt the roads here. Rockers look pretty good, bottom door corners look good, as do some other typical problem areas. The patch of rust on the roof is very superficial.
The two worst rust areas are these over and passenger floor pans (I included pictures of both) along with the battery box. The floors pans have small holes in them that light can be seen through. See pictures. The metal shelf for holding the battery is rusted through, the body underneath has rust but is not rusted through.
The interior is fairly complete. No steering wheel. Some pieces of trim missing. See pictures.
I have original title certificate. Not in my name. Back is blank. Title has not been transferred. I will provide original title document unfilled out. Plus a bill of sale filled out from me.
I am also selling locally on Craigslist. If someone picks it up locally first, I will pull the auction.
Odometer reads 18630. I assume the actual mileage is higher.
