This 1996 Ford F-250 is for sale for $700 in Granby, Massachusetts. It has 275,251 miles with a Clear title and is Blue Code LE with a Gray interior.
This was my personal pickup truck. I purchased off of Ebay 9 years ago from Utah. It had no rust on it when I bought it. I haven't used this very much in the winter- it has never had a plow on it. I put a used motor in 2014 with approx 112k. I believe the engine had the original injectors in it- I would plan on at least replacing the O-rings at some point. I did a new oil pan, up-pipe gaskets, manifold bolts, water pump, etc. This truck has has very cold AC and hot heat. The bad- the ZF manual trans needs to be rebuilt. I put in a factory Ford dual mass flywheel and factory Ford clutch in it about 7 years ago. I also have the Luk single flywheel that came with the truck. It needs bodywork as shown by the pictures- the underside of the cab and cab mounts are clean. I have never put a chip on it. I put an injector drive module (IDM) out of a 2000 7.3 because that is what was available to me at the time. The truck has a tremendous amount of power. I towed a 1976 F-250 highboy with a plow on it to Maryland on my 10 ton trailer and the truck had enough power to drive as fast as I wanted. It has been a good truck- never on the hook since I have owned it. I always use genuine Ford or Motorcraft parts for repairs. The deal is it needs work and I have too many other trucks that need work. It has a rare shortbed and manual trans. I hope someone will purchase this truck and restore to its former glory. I am not asking a lot for it, if it doesn't meet my low reserve I will part it out to fix my 97 F250PSD that was in a bad front end accident. Please only bid if you have the money available. I would recommend towing and not driving away. I have driven it on the highway with the trans like it is- but it is hard to get in 1st and reverse. Truck is sold as-is, where is for parts or repair.
