1939 Packard 1700 six sedan. Original interior. Previous owners had it since the 1950's. Been stored indoors most its life. Driven occasionally each year up until the last 3 or 4. Runs good and goes down the road smooth. I took it on a long drive this fall and it went great.
The vehicle has all new wheel cylinder parts and hoses. it stops very well. Also has a brand new carquest battery. Also brand new firestone 6.50-16 tires and tubes, and newly painted wheels.
Interior is all original and does have flaws and rub throughs as a nearly 80 year old vehicle would have. seats are in good condition. Headliner has two holes in it as seen in pictures.
Previous owner says the car was repainted in the early 60's at an Earl Scheib paint dealer. there are a few paint chips and flakes but the car could be buffed back to a good shine. there is some paint loss under the hood to the original color where it probably wasnt prepped correctly. There is a dent in the front fender that has been bumped out but not refinished at some point. The right headlight lens is cracked. All lights operate. Turn signals were added on and do not work at this time.
Glass is all in good shape except rear driver door glass is cracked below where you can see and the windsheild with has some fogging near the bottom as seen in the pictures.
Has a newer muffler.
horn is LOUD!!
