This 1965 Volkswagen Beetle - Classic is for sale for $6,500 in Hudson, Wisconsin. It has 11,111 miles with a Clear title and is Blue & White with a Blue & White interior.
Reluctantly selling my 1965 VW Bug. Retiring and moving to a warmer climate, and the retirement home doesn't have the space to keep her - if it did, I certainly wouldn't be parting with her. Engine has been upgraded to a 1600cc (prior to my ownership), runs and shifts great. I was contemplating converting to a electronic ignition system so I purchased one, but haven't gotten around to making the swap because I haven't had any issues at all with the good old points (will include the EI system with the car should you choose to go that route, along with other spares such as additional gaskets, bamboo tray, etc.). Since I've owned her, it hasn't seen a drop of water at all. Paint, as you can tell, is quite nice, although there are a few very minor imperfections. Maintenance religiously performed, new gaskets, new tires, new banjo steering wheel, new bamboo floor mats, new front carpet, new ceramic exhaust, Porsche wheels, lowered, rear pop out windows. I'll start the auction at $6500.00 and there is no reserve, so whoever the last bidder is will be the lucky new owner. I get more complements and smiles from people over this car than any other vintage car I've owned - no matter how expensive they were. I'll accept a paypal deposit of $500.00 within 24 hour of the end of the auction, with the balance to be paid with cashiers check, wire deposit, or cash. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and scheduling, but I'll make myself available for assistance loading. All in all, a fun to drive, inexpensive, attention grabbing car. Good Luck!
